Food for Thought

- As Christians, our lives are not supposed to be centered on ourselves but on the ministry of Jesus Christ.
- Sin brings forth loneliness in one’s contempt. We’re not victims of our pet sins but addicts to them. We cannot defeat Satan while playing footsie with him and holding hands.
​- Trust not in the flesh, for the old man lives by his own rules. Give no heed to his bittersweet words of half-truths, for he’s a mortal sinner above all else.
- Most loves are blind, but the Love of God is revealing and immeasurable in judgment, wisdom, and truth.
- It isn’t the moments spent getting through life that matter, but the steps we take to be nearer to God.
​- The price of following Christ cannot overshadow our Heavenly gain, for God’s beauty isn’t hidden in the shadows of man’s good works.
​​- True born-again Christianity is not a religion but a One on one relationship with God.
- To come to the door of Christ and turn away is the greatest loss.
- If ever asked for the answer or purpose of life, simply reply in one word Jesus.
​- A troubled soul often flows deeper, colder, and louder than the raging sea.
- The inward thoughts and outward acts are the measures by which a man is defined.
- I know not of any goodness within me, but the Spirit of God. I find hope not within myself but in the One within me. 
- A daily walk with God strengthens us against the temptations and the afflictions of the flesh. 
- War opens the floodgates to Heaven and Hell.
- As Christians, we carry no burden alone. There is no weight too large or heavy for our Father.
- The hottest place on earth is within the shoes of an unsaved sinner.
- The Christian pilgrimage is a reality for a few people but the hope of many. 
- Siblings in Christ are family for life. 
- A denier of the faith is an enemy to all it pertains to. 
- Jesus is the difference between hoping for a future and knowing one awaits. If not for knowing Him, we would know nothing but troubles and heartaches. 
- A weary soul often feeds a leery spirit. 
- In every action, focus your desires upon the Lord. 
- It’s a faithful act to align one’s heart with the word of God. 
- It’s in the light that all good things grow, but in the darkness of man’s heart is where sin has always flourished. 
- The greatest feeling of fulfillment is to be about the Lord’s work. 
- Spiritual malnutrition is inexcusable before God when His truth is so freely available. 
- To despair is to die without Christ. 
- Believing in the Gospel of Christ is the best life insurance ever.
- The history of humanity has proven that the most prevalent piece of the puzzle in a Christian’s life is the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. 
- In the case of relevance, God’s truths are all that matter.
- As Christians, we offer hope, but for an individual’s faith, that must be born between them and God.
- A sinner who refuses to hear or learn of God’s word is no more exempt at the judgment than a sinner who knew the truth but rejected it. 
- To justify one’s sins is a foolish attempt to reason before God that our wicked acts are pure ones. 
- During soul-winning, it’s not the men, women, and children winning souls, but the Holy Spirit working through them. 
- Stand firm as the tallest mountain and strong as its founding rock. Move diligently as the wind and spread the Gospel beyond your native flock. 
- As humans, we all write our biography, but for Christians, the story has no end.
- A foolish man conforms not to God’s will but to the wickedness of his own heart.
- The embodiment of truth is fashioned as a double-edged sword.
- Within our finite brains, we cannot fully comprehend the depth of God’s love.
- The gift of revival is nothing if not a taste of spiritual opulence and heavenly bliss.
- Many times, I’ve spiritually fallen or humbly knelt, but regardless of which, I was brought to my knees. It was there I learned to pray.
- There are no superiors or inferiors when it comes to the offer of salvation; we are all equally savable before Christ.
- Jesus is a person’s only hope; without Him, there’s nothing left but judgment and hell. 
- The fabric of time reflects no heartaches like the hateful acts born against God and His people.
- Salvation obtained is grace sustained.
- Wallowing in sin is like bathing in vomit; no reasonable soul will tolerate you for long.
- It’s not by mortal men in which true liberty is given, but by the gift of salvation through Jesus Christ, our Lord.
- On Earth, dirt was the first building block and substance through which man was created.
- The greatest peace for a Christian is to know you’re in God’s perfect Will. Yet, absolute joy is often born through a revival of the Holy Spirit.
- Strong is the cross, and hollow is the grave that leads me on to better days.
- To dwell on anything continually is like allowing it to own you. So, surrender that privilege of ownership upon the Lord and ponder heavily on Him. 
- God’s grace is sufficient and plentiful to a Christian’s need.
- Satan will keep us busy worrying about our future or consumed by our past. These are a few of his many methods to keep us off our godly task.
- Our daily burdens become lighter and less worrisome as we surrender them to the Lord.
- Pleasure without sin is happiness without regret.
- Our faith strengthens and shapes our daily walk in Christ while sin, fear, and others set out to devour and destroy it.
- There is no truth as valuable as the Gospel of Christ.
- Witness till Jesus returns. Pray for that spiritual momentum to create those momentous moments where you’ll shine brightest for the Lord.
- To know God is, in part, to trust Him. Can we honestly say that we believe God to be perfect without entirely putting our faith in Him first?
- Christians who put their faith in the Bible rest firmly in the oracles of God.
- The feeling of loneliness is one of the greatest delusions for a child of the King.
- May the spiritual corridors of my soul open like floodgates upon the hidden chambers of my heart to crush the strongholds of the flesh.
- Life’s spiritual battles often toss me to and fro. Leaving me wanting heaven and ever so ready to go.
- Surrender your life to Jesus, for he can make the most beautiful things out of the ugliest messes.

- It is pure insanity to believe one’s feelings over biblical logic and foreknowledge on a subject.

- To receive compliments are always nice, but claim nothing of your own merit or accord. Instead, give all credit and thanks unto God.
​- When given an apology, we must forgive and make amends despite our ego, feelings, stature, or pride, not to be contrary to God’s Will.
​- On the one hand, I find life to be a cruel never-ending joke, but on the other hand, I’d say we deserve every heartache and misery we get.
​- When trampled upon in life, let us be continuously strengthened in God’s Biblical faith.
- Death awakens us all.
- Backslidden is a dangerous slope.
- Sometimes, God ignites a spiritual fire of revival within His children that can only be extinguished through the hindering acts of the one's flesh.
- O’ wandering children on Hallows’ night; forsake the darkness and seek God’s Light.
- Every time you step through a door in life, be sure you’re standing on the right side with God.
- When dealing with other people, the real strength is not to tame another but to control your tongue throughout the situation.
- O' prayer bench, thou art the place in which I bow my head in belief, A sanctuary beside my Bible that stomps all disbelief.
- Surrender yourself unto knowledge and much will be shown unto you, but surrender your life to Jesus, and the gate of heaven shall be opened.

- Ungodly jealousy is a beast; best left unfed.
- The greatest and sincerest act of love was presented on the cross. Then offered in part as salvation through the resurrection of Jesus Christ. It’s the belief in His Gospel alone that sinners are saved through a repentant heart.
​- War is often a measure of good versus evil. During these times of conflict, the true inner person is revealed. In the thick and heart of it all, everyone’s colors bleed through, whether noble or unpleasant. I wonder what type of person others and myself would be in the face of absolute terror and fear.
- Some have said war is hell, but it’s only a tiny taste of pure torment. For I’d adventure to say, war is a picnic compared to those wretched souls who’ve experienced both the battlefield and hell’s fiery pit.
- No one goes into a tribulation triumphant, but through it, we can be victorious. May God grant me the heart to serve, the mind to learn, and the willingness to persevere. Dine upon the spiritual bread of God’s word and relish in its truth. Until I found God, I feared many trivial things. Then I realized it was in Him alone that I should fear. The most encouraging news I can offer a weary saint is that the rapture is less than a second away when observing time as God does.
- I’ve often traveled the old winding paths of destruction and self-pity, but now I walk the pardoned path of hope and forgiveness. Thank God that mercy and grace shall lead me home.
- Flatter, not the devils, with another fiery guest. Be saved this very hour and lay all your burdens to rest. Salvation is free… as free as can be; it’s just a heartfelt prayer between Jesus and thee.
- What light is sufficient in the darkest hours and the dimmest of nights? That doubles as a double-edged sword in the heaviest and grimmest of battles. It is no other than God’s word, the King James Bible.
- Short of the spiritual gift of salvation and one’s natural-born abilities. Reading and hearing God’s word is indisputably the greatest gift of all.
- In life, we’ll leave footprints in the hearts and minds of others. However, through God's word, we can leave them a scriptural trail of breadcrumbs to Him along the way.
- If a world of sin hampers your life, and your heart is hardened from deep within. You need only to call upon the Saviour for your healing to begin.  
- A burden roars within my soul, a cry from the deepest depths of my eternal being. Why can’t I be the witness I’ve hoped to be? The ears, once listening, now have silenced their drums from me.
- Faith in itself is more potent than hope and optimism combined. Faith, not emotion, allows a Christian to conclude indefinitely; undoubtedly, there is a God.
- When facing a showdown with the devil, I haven’t the strength to win nor the will to quit. With all my options laid out before me, I humbly plea for the precious blood of Christ over my life and the battle at hand.
 - When trying to buy happiness, our hindsight shows us we’re just grooming and nourishing our ever-deepening misery. This low spot in the pit of our being is a spiritual void only God can fill.
- Don’t cry; judge me not when your visual acts unveil your sinful deeds. Shouldn’t an apple be called an apple, or an orange an orange? It’s not judging to call sin by its name.  
- I realized as strong as I thought I was, my nerves were later mirrored to show me how weak I truly am. Only in God alone can I find my inner strength.
- Help me, dear Lord, to serve you more each day, to read your word faithfully, and continually pray. Burden my heart for the things of Thine own, humble my spirit that I’ll only find strength in Thee alone. 
- When looking towards the rapture... I’m faithful to wait, ready to leave, inclined to prepare and enticed to watch, but careful not to be found spiritually asleep and wanting.
- Sinners perish not in your pagan beliefs and foolish endeavors. Repent of your sins and believe fully in the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and be saved today.
- The world finds the Bible recessive but sees itself as progressive. Thankfully, the Bible is perfect and forever unchanging; nothing in its words needs to be edited, modified, or rearranged.
- My firm belief in God takes shape not only in my faith in Him but in His work in me. It’s not my beliefs in Him that make Him real, but it is His belief in me that molded and formed me into existence.
- I wake up not for pure adventure but another chance to serve the Lord with more magnitude and enthusiasm than the day before. Unmovable faith and godly commitments are essential to my daily task. 
- Christians, pray this is the season your ministry causes a stir for Christ and sets the spiritual world on fire. It matters very little at present what you’ve done or didn’t do for God in the past. This moment is the time that counts now, not yesterday or days passed.
- Anyone can obtain salvation, but only a few will receive it. By grace and repentance, men are made immortal, not by nobility or financial reason. May you also find eternal peace in the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
- Throughout our most incredible storms, whether sinking in the tides or thrashed by the raging waves, God is already there. He waits calmly with the life preserver in hand.
- Thanksgiving is not just a day but a way of life. How we think, react, and live, being thankful in and out of trials and tribulations. The proper understanding of Thanksgiving is to be forever grateful to Jesus for the breath of life and redeeming the grace of salvation offered to all.
- There are unsettling things around and about us, unnerving to a Christian’s existence and core. The work of Satan engulfs this world, the falling acts and nature of mankind. It’s the sins of humanity that darken man’s earthly lot. Who can live without God’s light? Who can be fulfilled in total darkness?
- Many will endure a spiritual roller-coaster throughout their life. Running back and forth from and to God. From the great heights of the tallest mountains to the bottom of the lowest valleys.
- Stress is a wicked beast, especially when it turns into depression. When left alone, humans are self-destructing beings. However, one’s sanity often follows some measure of solitude, particularly when that time is given to God.
- If eternal life could be bought, wouldn’t you acquire it at any cost? Then why do so many people neglect God's gift? When it cost Him, not us.
- It’s not the physical closeness of God; we long for, but the spiritual. God is omnipresent, so physically, we can not get any closer or further from Him than we already are. Nevertheless, I am left with profound loneliness when not in His Will.
- While listening to the raging storm and howling winds. I bury myself beneath my blankets as I settle down, all tucked in. I reach for my Bible, forever drawn to its timeless, enduring words. My soul will rest easy tonight, wrapped in my new birth.
- A hardened heart buried beneath a lifetime of sin. Those times I’d repent only to sin again and again. Shall God’s mercy and grace endure to this day? Bowed before the throne of God, I surrender my will to His ways.
- We, the followers of Christ in which faith stands, are not to be of the mindset of the infidels and reprobates. Lean not into the ways of the heathen and give no leniency to their devilish ways. Find thyself faithful unto God’s undeniable Will, serving wholly in his governed light of truth.
- Rest not your hopes and dreams on the things of the world or oneself, but surrender your absolute expectations upon the Lord. Misguided beliefs are often like a terminal disease that gradually destroys the faith of the weak and mediocre believer.
- Do you know your Father’s foes and all the wickedness that comes and goes? Muslims rant and chant their devilish oaths; betrothed to Satan, their hatred grows.
- Grasp onto and share the truth of God, for all else is expendable. Suffer nothing to temptation, but surrender thy will and ways unto the Lord.
- For who foresaw and knew the future of that day and hour in which thou would be birthed of the Spirit and made an heir of God? No one but the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit could’ve known for sure of that blissful moment. The second thou would surrender thy all for the induction into the heavenly fold.
- The Bible is not only the structure that forms and builds a believer’s faith, but it is the literary anchor in which all human logic, wisdom, and hope can be found.
​- So many people want God’s protection and deliverance in their lives, but not at the cost of fully surrendering. Oh, how blind and deceived we can be.
​- As Christians, we should take every occasion granted to us to seek the lost and witness to the sinners as if we could see the rising flames kindled beneath their feet. Preach the gospel with urgency, for this may be their final hour.
- O’ Heavenly Father, I could not stand without Thee or live one moment on my own—Thou art my God and Creator and sit upon the Master’s throne. Show me Thy Will for my life and right from wrong. Break all my bonds of sin asunder, that I may live faithfully unto Thee.
- There is a moment of spiritual convergence where a sinner and the new man meet. The crossroad at Calvary is where one can kneel and surrender before the Saviour’s feet.
- Let us not trample over the promises birthed in prayer thru faith, those same promises God gifted out of His love and grace. 
- God’s reach is without borders or measure. His strength is without limits. Who can lay a finger on or overpower Him? No one, not even Satan nor his army.
- Worry not about the GOLIATHS in your life. Instead, concentrate on JEHOVAH, for God has never lost a battle or war. No mountain is so high that He cannot step over and pull you out of the valley below.
- Prayers often change our spiritual views and perception to the Biblical perspective over physically altering a situation. Helping us spiritually grow.
- When no longer seeking Biblical truth and wisdom, you’ll open yourself up to the ungodly notions of yesterday, today, tomorrow, and the days to come.
- The internet is the image of the Tower of Babel as it brings together all tongues and all known knowledge. Merging languages into one platform to build on the world’s collective mind.
​- As Christians, have we become so displaced and displeased that our spirit wrestles with our soul? Has the wrath of the times and other people stolen our joy? What have we become? Are we so disgruntled and beaten down by life to find happiness? For me and myself, I aim to realign with the Lord's Will and find my comfort and peace in Him.  When and if our cup of blessings overflows, will we still complain, as in grumble that our vessel is not yet large enough? Hasn’t God given us His only-begotten Son and the future of victors? Then act as so by rejoicing in Jesus and surrendering all unto Him.
- Revival: 1) Humans from birth are naturally worldly creatures. There are many things to distract and pull us from God. We are often vain, selfish, and prideful when left on our own accord. However, God wants and expects so much more from us. He wants people who love, honor, and serve Him. In these uncertain and troubling times, we must seek God faithfully for a personal revival. So as Christians, let’s strive daily to enrich our spiritual walk in Christ. 2) During an era where the wicked march on destroying and setting fire to the earth, history tells us of a time when Christian revivals lit the souls of mankind ablaze. 3) The steps of revival are not fully shown in one section of scripture. It’s more laid out, like a trail of breadcrumbs throughout the Bible. When these spiritual truths are jointly practiced, we open ourselves up for a personal revival. 4) A sought-out revival cannot be found within a formula or blueprint. It’s a rare gift from God, given to a broken, repented individual or group of people. True revivals are uncommon because most humans are unwilling to surrender their will to Christ. It’s all about God and His timing. It’s not by the works of man but through the work of God. Yes, we can prepare for a spiritual outpouring. However, only the Holy Spirit can open up the floodgates and make them flow.
- Death: 1) If it’s the Saviour that you wait to meet, then the thought of death is more or less bittersweet. When you die, if it is the devil that awaits, your soul shall be tormented in its fiery fate. 2) In Jesus alone is eternal life obtained; hence, in Him, our soul shall be sustained. 3) Those dead are casualties of war, for the crusade of death rages against the living daily. 4) The sweet savor of death to a Christian rest firmly on the gospel of Jesus Christ. With our risen Saviour, we’ll forever be, for the death of this mortal flesh shall set us free. 5) Death has a way of separating us, but in the end, it brings us Christians back together. 6) In death, a Christian lingers not in limbo before meeting the Lord. 7) The vacuum of knowledge and truth clearly draws me to my end. It’s not life but death that brings a Christian to complete understanding. 8) The Bible is not the tool, instrument, or roadmap that guides us from life to death but from sin to God. Whatever crossroads you may stand at today, His word can guide you to a more righteous walk in Him. 9) Life has a way of being unpleasantly kind, as death’s cold, dark hands have robbed me blind too many times. I’ll still leave this world with a heart of praise; for me, my Saviour comforts me throughout my days. 10) Death is a welcomed friend when in the protective hands of the Lord. 
- The Inventor: The first inventor is not of this world, but He did invent it. 2) To know God is to know the Creator of all things. 3) In Colossians, it states that God is the Supreme Builder and Inventor as “all things were created by him, and for him: And he is before all things, and by him, all things consist.” 4) God unveiled the universe as He spoke creativity into all creation.
