Food for Thought

- As Christians, our lives are not supposed to be centered on ourselves, but rather on the ministry of Jesus Christ.
​- Trust not in the flesh for the old man liveth by his own rules. Give no heed to his bittersweet words of half-truths, for he’s a mortal sinner above all else.
- Most loves are indeed blind, but the Love of God is revealing and immeasurable in truth and wisdom within His Light.
- It isn’t the moments spent getting through life that matter, but the steps we take to be nearer to God.
​- The price of following Christ cannot overshadow our Heavenly gain, for God’s beauty isn’t hidden in the shadows of man’s good works.
​​- True born-again Christianity is not a religion, but a One on one relationship with God.
- To come to the door of Christ and turn away is the greatest loss.
- If ever asked for the answer or purpose of life, simply reply in one word Jesus.
​-  A troubled soul often flows deeper, colder, and louder than the raging sea.
- The inward thoughts and outward acts are the measures by which a man is defined.
- I know not of any goodness within me, but the Spirit of God. I find hope not within myself but in the One within me. 
- A daily walk with God strengthens us against the temptations and the afflictions of the flesh.

- The greatest feeling of fulfillment is to be about the Lord’s work. 
- Spiritual malnutrition is inexcusable before God when His truth is so freely available. 
- To despair is to die without Christ. 
- Believing in the Gospel of Christ is the best life insurance one could ever have.
- The history of humanity has proven that the most prevalent piece of the puzzle in a Christian’s life is the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. 
- In the case of relevance, God’s truths are all that matters.
- As Christians, we offer hope, but for an individual’s faith, that must be born between them and God.
- A sinner who refuses to hear or learn of God’s word is no more exempt at the judgment than a sinner who knew the truth but rejected it. 
- To justify one’s sins is a foolish attempt to reason before God that our wicked acts are pure ones. 
- During soul-winning, it’s not the men, women, and children who are winning souls, but the Holy Spirit that’s working through them. 
- Stand firm as the tallest mountain and strong as its founding rock. Move diligently as the wind and spread the Gospel beyond your native flock. 
- We’re all writers of our own biography, but our book ends on a perfect note as Christians.
- A foolish man conforms not to God’s will but to the wickedness of his own heart.
- The embodiment of truth is fashioned as a double-edged sword.
- The mere depth of God’s blessings cannot be fully understood or valued by the puny intellect of mankind.
- The gift of revival is nothing if not a taste of spiritual opulence and heavenly bliss.
- Many times, I’ve spiritually fallen, or I humbly knelt, but regardless of which, I was brought to my knees. It was there I learned to pray.
- There are no superiors or inferiors when it comes to the offer of salvation; we are all equally savable before Christ.

- Our daily burdens become lighter and less worrisome as we begin to surrender them unto the Lord.
- Pleasure without sin is happiness without regret.
- Our faith strengthens and shapes our daily walk in Christ while sin, fear, and others set out to devour and destroy it.
- In life, there is no truth as valuable as the Gospel of Christ.
- Witness till Jesus’ returns. Pray, for that spiritual momentum to create those momentous moments where you’ll shine brightest for the Lord.
- To know God is, in part, to trust Him. Can we honestly say that we believe God to be perfect without fully putting our faith in Him first?
- Christians who put their faith in the Bible rest firmly in the oracles of God.
- The feeling of loneliness is one of the greatest delusions for a child of the King.
- May the spiritual corridors of my soul open like floodgates upon the hidden chambers of my heart to crush the strongholds of the flesh.
- Life’s spiritual battles often toss me to and fro. Leaving me wanting heaven and ever so ready to go.
- Surrender your life to Jesus, for he can make the most beautiful things out of the ugliest messes.
- ​One’s greatest failure is not to fail oneself or another, but to fail God.
- The world is mad and gone astray for the Devil, and his minions are out to play. ​
- ​All the battles of swimming upstream are worthwhile when getting back to God.
- The armor of salvation is the greatest gift unto man. Eternal without clause through faith, laid freely before the sinners’ spiritual hands.
- Hearken not unto bitterness that sets forth to move in and grab hold, but surrender thy hopes and prayers unto biblical wisdom.
- It is pure insanity to believe one’s feelings over biblical logic and foreknowledge on a subject.
​- Three things that are missing in the world today more than anything else are true love, fear, and reverence for God.
- The greatest gift to humanity is to no longer face hell. While the worst reality is to know you’re already there.
- While divided interests bring the world to arms, the state of sin triggers very few alarms.

- To receive compliments are always nice, but claim nothing of your own merit or accord. Instead, give all credit and thanks unto God.
​- Always aim to make amends despite your ego, feelings, stature, or pride; though we be not contrary to God’s Will.
​- On the one hand, I find life to be a cruel never-ending joke, but on the other hand, I’d say we deserve every heartache and misery we get.
​- When trampled upon in life, let us be always strengthened in God’s Biblical faith.
- Death awakens us all.
- Backslidden is a dangerous slope.
- Sometimes in life, we ignite a fire that we cannot stop or control.

- When dealing with other people, the real strength is not to tame another, but to control your tongue throughout the situation.
- Dear Prayer, Thou art the place in which I bow my head in belief, A sanctuary along beside the Holy Bible that stomps all disbelief.
- Those dead are casualties of war, for it is the crusade of death that rages against the living daily.
- Surrender yourself unto knowledge and much will be shown unto you, but surrender your life to Jesus, and the gate of heaven shall be opened.
- Our faith strengthens and shapes our daily walk in Christ while sin, fear, and others set out to devour and destroy it.
- Ungodly jealousy is a beast; best left unfed.
